Dr. Carl Bampoe, Basileus

Dr. Carl Bampoe is an African- American male born in Ghana, West Africa. In 1980 at the age of 10, he left Ghana, West Africa to better his life. He arrived in New Brunswick, New Jersey where he started his formal education. As a student in this urban setting he started to see the lack of respect for education by peers and the effects of ineffective teaching. He then decided he will be part of the process to bring about change. Since then he has dedicated his life to educating students in the urban setting. 

He is an educator with 19 years of educational and instructional leadership experience in both elementary and secondary education. Dr. Bampoe holds a BA in Economics and a Masters in Educational Leadership, and a Doctorial Degree in Urban Education from Kean University. As an educator, Dr. Bampoe’s affable communication style, coupled with a focus on the discipline of execution, has distinguished him among his peers. 

Dr. Bampoe is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. and currently serves as the Basileus for the Tau Chi chapter of Ghana, West Africa. Dr. Bampoe is the recipient of multiple awards including The Citizen of the year Award from the 13th District of Omega Psi Phi. He has received The George E. Meares Scholarship, the Founders Memorial Scholarship, and other awards such as Teacher of the Year 2005, and Citizenship award from The College of New Jersey. 

Bro. Bampoe continues to work with brothers from Tau Chi to assist and bring programs to Ghana to assist and aide those in need. Bro. Bampoe spends his time between Ghana and Somerset, New Jersey, where he lives with his wife and three children. 

Kwab Asamoah, Vice Basileus

Kwab Asamoah is Owner & CEO of Kustom Looks Clothier, the premiere custom tailoring company located in the Accra Ghana.  Mr. Asamoah’s clientele list reads like an international Who’s Who including prominent politicians, corporate executives, and celebrities.  Television viewers can see his apparel daily; as it is worn by sportscasters, commentators, entertainers, and actors. 

Mr. Asamoah graduated Cum Laude from Morgan State University with a dual degree in Engineering and Physics. Prior to starting his tailoring business, he worked as a computer consultant and attained the level of Certified Instructor in automated testing.  In May 2005, Mr. Asamoah’s entrepreneurial spirit kicked in and without any prior experience in tailoring -- led him to the creation of Kustom Looks Clothier. 

Asamoah founded Kustom Looks Clothier out of his Bowie, MD townhome with no investors and lots of faith.  After leaving his six-figure salary in IT/Computers, there has been no turning back for the trailblazing entrepreneur.   In January 2009, Kustom Looks Clothier opened their flagship storefront in downtown Silver Spring, MD. Kustom Looks was the clothier for some of the most recognizable faces on American TV including former Maryland Lt Governor Anthony Brown, Former Maryland Lt Governor Michael Steele, Grammy Award Winner Peabo Bryson, ABC Channel 8 News Leon Harris, the Washington Redskins coaching staff and broadcasters.

Looking to take advantage of numerous opportunities, Asamoah expanded his operations to his motherland of Accra in 2011. Kustom Looks Ghana was launched with a new showroom inside the A&C Mall in East Legon. After 3 years of successful retailing, Asamoah fulfilled his lifelong goal of establishing a manufacturing factory in Accra. With a full factory, Kustom Looks provides Bespoke suits and couture dresses throughout Ghana, Europe, and the USA.

Residing full time in Accra since 2012, Asamoah joined Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc in 2013 as the first African line in the history of the frat.

Robert Botts, Keeper of Finance

In 1984 Mr. Robert M. Botts enlisted into the United States Marine Corps at the age of seventeen. Already a veteran of Operation Desert Storm, in 2005 Mr. Botts would return to the Gulf to serve in Operation Iraqi Freedom, as part of a Close Protection Team for the Army Corps of Engineers. After leaving the Marine Corps with an Honorable Discharge, he began a successful career in the Private Security Industry that has spanned over 30 years, in which he has excelled in all aspects of Field Operations to include, but not limited to Account Management, Client Relations, New Business Development, Corporate Investigations, Executive Protection and Tactical Security.

After leaving Iraq, Mr. Botts completed his quest for a B.S.BA in 2012, when he graduated summa cum laude (4.0 g.p.a.) from Columbia Southern University, with a Concentration in Project Management. In 2014 Mr. Botts completed his Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership and finally in 2017, he completed a second Masters of Science in Emergency Service Management. Mr. Botts is also the Founder of VeteV, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit foundation which helps to provide Atlanta, Georgia military veterans with safe transitional housing alternatives, teaches skills that empower veterans and encourages self-sufficiency, to facilitate a smooth transition back into society. 

However it was in April 2011, while escorting a client on a discovery trip to the beautiful country of Ghana, that Mr. Botts feels that his life changed. It was during this trip that Mr. Botts developed a vision of bringing a sense of professionalism and pride to the Security Industry of Ghana. Today Mr. Botts is bringing that vision to life, as the COO of C2i International Security (Ghana) Ltd. He and his team have become the fastest growing and most sought after Security Company in Ghana.
